Sawn American Black Walnut Super Prime

Colour chocolate brown with purplish-black streaks and light sapwood. Machines to a beautiful finish with varying grain patterns to give a very attractive timber. Moderately durable, with very little movement once machined and average weight of 660kg per cubic metre. Popular for high quality internal joinery and cabinet making.

Boards lengths 6ft – 15ft, widths 4” – 15”. We only stock Super Prime grade which is a flatter straighter board with less defects and is selected for minimal sapwood. We welcome any enquiries for machined profiles or can select sawn boards to your exact specifications.
